Change to submissions limits
Hello, we have only two active admin right now and both are going to be a little pre-occupied in the next month or so. For this reason we have changed the submission limit to one per month until the situation improves in some fashion.
I apologise, but we will try to get back to normal operation as soon as we can.
We need more helping hands
It seems like a lot of dA groups are looking for new admins and contributer lately and unfortunately we need your manpower as well.
We need two new admins (co-founder) to accept new contributions and member - you see the task is that easy and our requirements are pretty low. You need to have basic knowledge of photomanipulations, proper english language skills and you should've time to watch the group at least every second day. NOTICE: about Getty Images
Just a quick note because one of the larger Digital Art groups has recently suggested that Getty Images is a suitable source for stock.
It is not. Their licence explicitly excludes any modifications apart from cropping to fit a space. Cutting parts of the image out to reuse in your works is not licenced. This is the same licence used by every stock site in the Getty stable.
In this group I will continue to reject any work that contains images from that source unless there is written permission from the actual copyright holder that overrides the Getty Images licence. Getty Images do not hold copyright over photographs on their site/s.

These caught my eye in the 'Animals' folder
I said in a recent journal that I would browse through our galleries and pick some works that appealed to me. I realised, after starting that process, that there are so many appealing works that my choices would necessarily end up as the subject of a number of journals. I decided that this series of journals should highlight six images from each gallery, making a journal for each gallery, and hopefully I could try to explain what it was about each selection that made ME stop and say 'this one'.
